06.09.2016 Conventional manufacturing of turbine blades takes up much time and cost, leading to huge delays especially in turbine testing. In a joint project by Siemens and the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, a faster manufacturing process has been developed on the basis of selective laser melting.
