The working group Automation has created a roadmap for laser powder bed technologies for metals and plastics, and the current editing status can now be reviewed and commented on.
The autumn meeting will take place at Siemens in Erlangen on September 19th, 2018

December 2nd, 2015: Machine manufacturers and users of machines for additive manufacturing are collaborating on a catalog of requirements.
December 2nd, 2015: In order to tackle the high need for automation in a practical way, the working group Automation will form two working groups: “Digital Factory” and “Manufacturing Processes.”
Presentations held at the working group’s meeting in Augsburg on March 18th, 2016, are now available for download.
During a meeting of the Working Group Automation on May 23rd, 2017, in Darmstadt, members worked together on the roadmap for additive manufacturing.
On February 21st, 2017 the Working Group Pressure Equipment Directive met at the VDMA in Frankfurt.
